This week: Carl Maria von Weber.
Coming of age at the turn of the 19th century, Weber would grow up to become a leader in Europe’s budding Romantic movement. He was a pianist, guitarist, conductor and critic. As a composer, he wrote ground-breaking operas and brilliant piano music – and clarinetists love him for the 2 concertos he left behind.
